Recently, two younger men from the neighborhood died of cancer.
I knew them, but we weren’t close, just had mutal friends.
Snippets of their lives have been shared with me, and all I can say about them is that we all fall short in some way.
Not sure where they were mentally, as their lights dimmed in this life, but I just hope that they are finally free.
From cradle to grave our spirits are tampered with and tested to the limits at times, so the respect I have for elders is a homage to understanding.
If you live long enough you do know quite a bit more than someone younger.
Life is more than just a four letter word; it encompasses lessons that are only learned by experiences and encounters.
There isn’t just one test, their are many.
Yeah, I was thinking about it, and that’s what I’ve come up with so far. ~GD
