“A Safe Distance” – an introspective on letting go, by Author G D Grace

Author G D Grace

“Distance is the best action to use when putting needed space between an unacceptable situation or unhealthy relationships.

Call it being a glutton for punishment, or being in a comfort zone, but whatever we choose to call it, always know that there comes a defining moment that whispers it’s time to let go.

At one time my creative space was occupied by overbearing clouds that almost destroyed my spirit, but little by little I took tiny calculated steps in the direction towards bluer skies.

It may not be an easy move, but we cannot second guess our decision, nor deny how we feel inside. If it no longer feels right, then it is time to go.

Over time we’ll wind up in the perfect climate surrounded by the right people.

I have to keep reminding myself of this”
