My tattered shoes aren’t a reflection of how poor I am, they are a badge I wear proudly, because I am still standing.
I remember seeing a picture of President Obama with his legs kicked up on a table, and he had worn soles. That picture just stuck in my mental cavity as I move forward.
He is about making a difference, not presenting an image, and he’s one of the most powerful men in the world.
I’m wearing my tattered shoes tomorrow with pride, because it’s not about the shoes you wear, it’s about how you show up.
I keep pepping back on here, don’t I? (Wink) ~GD
